I started this blog because I want to share my passion, while at the same time inspiring others to embrace theirs. I love to create. I found it hard to write my why. I just really find creating art fulfilling. Whether its yarn, paint, jewelry, sewing and even gardening. I love it all.
I want to share what I love.
I have recently started a new chapter in my life. I had to walk away from toxic people. Sometimes you must do that in your life. I am very grateful for those people in my life that didn’t let me give up during that rough phase in the previous chapter. We have a new home after living nomad for a year and a half. It is so awesome to create in my own space again. I have been nesting nicely and I love being surrounded by my books again. Oh man have I missed my books. I have been working on organizing and decluttering. Purging and passing on the things that we no longer need has been refreshing.
I would like to start having craft gatherings, where we would get together and work on current WIP (work in progress) projects. Folks would bring their own craft, beverage/adult beverage and snack to pass. I think this would be fun.
I am excited to be able to work on the website. I have had an Etsy Shop for many years. There are too many limits on what you can sell, and then there are the fees. Lastly, anyone who buys off the platform always tells people they bought it on Etsy and not the shop that they got it from. I do not plan on closing the Etsy shop for now, but I am shifting my focus now on the website.
